Uplifting Rights, Empowering Lives

The Jom Daftar OKU Serian 2025 program reflects a strong commitment from various stakeholders in upholding the rights and wellbeing of persons with disabilities through health screenings, disability categorization, the opening of special BSN savings accounts, and strategic collaboration among government and private agencies. This initiative goes beyond registration, serving as a progressive step towards a more inclusive future, in line with the nation’s aspiration to ensure that no community is left behind in the development agenda.

OKU Vocal Art Clinic 2025
The OKU Vocal Art Clinic: “Nurturing Talent, Building Confidence” is a unique platform organized by Universiti Teknologi MARA’s Division of Disability Services and Development (U-DServeD) in collaboration with Daqmie Music Factory. Happening on 22 & 23 October 2025, from 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM, this program empowers Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) to explore and enhance their talents in vocal arts, music, emceeing, and event management. With guidance from professional coaches and industry experts, participants will gain practical experience while building confidence in the creative arts.

Towards an Inclusive Nation

Welcome to Hak OKU Malaysia, a platform built on the Persons with Disabilities Act 2008.
Our main objectives are to:

  • Raise awareness on the rights and dignity of persons with disabilities (PWDs).
  • Provide guidance on access to education, employment, healthcare, and community life.
  • Encourage social support towards a more inclusive nation.

Abilympics: Showcasing PWD Abilities on the World Stage

Abilympics is an international skills competition for PWDs, first held in Tokyo in 1981 and now run by the International Abilympics Federation; Malaysia, through the Malaysian Council for Rehabilitation (MCR), has participated since 1995 with notable achievements and is now preparing for Abilympics 2027 in Helsinki.
